Oktoberfest: Day two

It rained.

There was no tourism today as I had work in the morning and afternoon, with sufficient time between the two blocks for a supermarket dash and an impromtu meal prepared by Hostess’ lodger.

During the shopping break, Hostess took me to a wonderful South African shop full of colourful goodies. Strangely enough “we” went for Marmite, because I decided that there was a woeful lack of the stuff in the house. Mission accomplished and a celebratory-wine tasting later, we went to the supermarket where I’m relatively certain we bought enough food to feed an army, but perhaps Hostess knows something I don’t.

Tomorrow the plan is to visit Dachau. Claudia told me her tales about it yesterday, and Hostess mentioned it briefly today. I think I have an idea what to expect but am quite certain I actually have absolutely no idea.

Pordo de la tago.
